How Does the PDF Organizer Work?
The CompressFly PDF organizer lets you rearrange PDF pages, rotate sideways scans, and remove pages you no longer need. Add pages from another PDF, insert an image as a new page, or leave a blank page between sections. Page thumbnails give you a clear view of the document as you put it together. Your files are processed locally in your browser, and the finished sequence is saved as one new PDF. Your original files stay unchanged.
What "processed locally" means
- Your PDF and image files are not uploaded to a server
- Page previews and organization take place on your device
- PDF passwords are handled in your browser
- The finished PDF is created locally for download
Put Your PDF in the Right Order
Fix a scanned document or bring related pages together before you print or share it.
Reorder Scanned PDF Pages
Put scans back in sequence and turn sideways pages upright, so the document reads the way it should.
Remove Unwanted PDF Pages
Leave out blank scans, duplicate copies, or outdated pages so the PDF contains only what you want to share.
Insert Pages from Another PDF
Bring a report and its supporting PDFs into one document, with each set of pages where it belongs.
Add a Cover or Section Break
Insert a JPG or PNG cover image as a new page, or add a blank page to separate sections.
Why Use CompressFly to Organize PDF Pages?
Easy to Use
Get a disorganized PDF ready to share without learning complex editing software. A clear view of the document helps you focus on how it should read.
Built-in Page Editing
Common page corrections are handled in one workspace. You can tidy up a document without passing it between separate tools for each small change.
Ready for a Better Handoff
Loose scans and supporting files can become a document that reads naturally from start to finish. That makes it easier for the next person to follow the material.
No Installation Required
Work on the page sequence directly in your browser. There is no desktop editor to set up when a document simply needs organizing.
Free Without an Account
Prepare a report, application, or record set without buying PDF software. The organizer is free to use and does not require registration.
Private Workspace
Your PDFs and added images stay on your device while you work. The finished copy is created locally, with no document upload to a processing server.
Organize PDF FAQ
How can I rearrange PDF pages online?
Rearrange your PDF in three steps: 1. Add your PDF to see the page thumbnails. 2. Drag the pages into the order you want. Rotate, remove, or add pages if needed. 3. Click “Organize PDF,” preview the result, and download the new file.
Can I organize pages from several PDFs into one file?
Yes. Add multiple PDFs and arrange their pages in one workspace. You can change the order of whole files or move individual pages between them. Source labels and colors help you keep track of each document, and the result is one combined PDF.
Can I rotate and delete PDF pages while reordering them?
Yes. Rotate a page in 90-degree steps to fix its orientation, or remove any page you do not want in the finished document. You can make these changes alongside reordering without switching tools.
Can I insert images and blank pages into a PDF?
Yes. Insert JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP, or WebP images, or add a blank page between existing pages. Each image becomes a new page rather than being placed over an existing page. You can also insert another PDF at the position you choose.
Will changing the PDF page order update existing page numbers?
No. Page numbers already printed on the pages move with their content; they are not automatically renumbered. Use the Add Page Numbers to PDF tool afterward to add numbering for the new sequence.
Will bookmarks, forms, and digital signatures be preserved?
The organizer creates a new document from the pages you keep. Document-level features such as bookmarks, forms, attachments, and digital signatures may not carry over unchanged. Keep the originals when those features matter.
Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?
No. Your PDFs, inserted images, and passwords are handled locally in your browser. Page previews and the final PDF are created on your device, so the files are not uploaded for processing.
Is this PDF organizer free to use?
Yes. Organize PDF pages for free, with no account, credit card, or software installation required.
